The food is your standard American breakfast and brunch fare. Pancakes, eggs, burgers, etc. It's nothing to write home about, but the food is fairly priced, and it's a great place to eat when you want a hot meal and don't want to drive farther out.

If you're a vegetarian and you love a great tasting meal that's also healthy, this is a fantastic place to try out! All the food there is Mediterranean. I always get their vegetarian platter, as it gives you a sample of their best dishes. It's enough for me and my husband to split. They also have great smoothies and soups.

I always get their vegetarian platter, as it gives you a sample of their best dishes. It's enough for me and my husband to split. They also have great smoothies and soups.
Fantastic made-from-scratch pizza and very unique made-in-front-of-you ice cream. Kids love to watch them make the ice cream (they use nitrogen and cream). They have game tables in the back, an indoor (small) soccer field, and a giant playhouse for kids. Great for a rainy day.

You'll want to call ahead if you're going here in the summer, as there's often a wait of an hour or more. Some argue this is the best pizza EVER. Kids are given dough to play with while waiting for the food. Great service, great food, right next to Silver Beach, so great location and great view.

There's also a deli which serves hot vegetarian lunches every day. If you go to Cafe 31 (on the right side of the store as you enter), you can get a Big Frank hot dog for only $1. It's a college student favorite.

Parks & Nature
This beach is BUSY during the summer. After labor day, it settles down a bit. There's a splash pad, a large playground, a beach, a carousel and two hands-on kid's museums within walking distance. Great place to take the family during nice weather. If you park in St. Joe (not directly on the beach) it's free, but you have to walk down a massive flight of stairs. Great exercise! Otherwise, you will need to pay to park in the beach parking lot.

The Fernwood Botanical Garden and Nature Preserve is an arboretum, botanical garden, and nature preserve. There are almost always beautiful flowers in bloom, and the trails are beautiful if you're looking for a pleasant hike or walk.

If you want to watch a movie in a theater and don't want to spend lots of money, this is the perfect place! Price range on tickets is $2.50-$5 per person, depending on the time of day. It's a decent theater too.

$6-$11.50 price per ticket, depending on when you go. The theater is much nicer than the one in Niles, and everyone has their own reclining seat. Definitely a better experience, but the cost is more.
