The Peloponnesian Folklore Foundation "Vasileios Papantoniou" is a non profit institution which established in 1974. Its primary aim is the research, study, demostration and conservation of the Hellenic cultural activity.
It is located on King Alexander's 1 street and has been awarded with the European Museum of the Year Main Award (EMYA) in 1981. Its exhibition gives the visitor great insights into the life of the people in the Peloponnese in the past, their homes, clothing, etc.

Nice place on a quiet pedestrianised street in the old town.The service is really friendly, the setting lovely (table in the alley way, and flowers all around). The restaurant offers the usual dishes according to the season. if you 're lucky you will get the chance of having live music from local musicians.
