I don't think I need to say much but you are a 15-20 minute walk or a ten minute bus ride from the corner outside.

While I wouldn't recommend going to Pier 39 for any reason but because you "have to" This is a multiple ferry stop My profile picture is actually me, working aloft on a friend's sailboat.

SF is sailing paradise and this club for less than a sailboat ride for 2 will give you at least 3-4 member sails a month. Seeing SF from the water is a must do and if you want to sail then GO!

Great open mic free music. Zhara the cafe's owner is fluent in 9 languages . There's a wonderful mural and a garden maintained by yours truly on the back patio. Definitely a local favorite.

Sightseeing
Probably my favorite park it's a bit of a hike to the top but the view is worth it and it's not a tourist spot unlike Alamo Square. Great place to check out.

Probably one of the most famous tourist photo stops. This is where you see the row of Victorians in just about every guide book. Also used in the intro to a 80's sitcom, I think "Full House"?

Cool vintage trolleys some even of wood and open air will take you from the Castro all the way to the bay on a vintage trolley car from many other places all over the world. I like the one from Milan

Best way to see the bay and the bridges is from the water. Check out Sausalito, Angel Island or just take a ride around the bay. Great price and you can rent a bike to take to Sausalito for a ride

There is a must do for all people coming to the Bay Area and that's experience it from the bay. A great family trip for a day or even a couple if you want to camp is Angel Island. Take a bicycle too.

A really cheap treat. An invention of Da Vinci's that predates the camera by about 500 years. I thinks it's $2 and well worth it, much better than hanging with the tourists in the Cilff House.

Good Beach and if you are really adventures an hour at most hike to the nude beach. Everybody should get naked for day outside once in your life. Just don't strip at Baker Beach, it's much too public.
