It is one of the symbolic monuments of the city. Designed at the end of the 13th century by Arnolfo di Cambio, it is still the seat of the city government. With the advent of Cosimo I De 'Medici, who elected him as his residence, an interior decoration project was started by Vasari and his pupils focused on the celebration of the Medici family. Inside the children's museum organizes workshops and themed tours.
