A 5000 year old passage tomb and place of ritual. Newgrange is best known for the illumination of its passage and chamber by the winter solstice sun, and its examples of Neolithic art.
Newgrange can be accessed only by guided tour from the Brú na Bóinne Visitor Centre.

Saint Patrick was said to have come here to drive out the pagans, but these days it is regularly used by Shaman's and druids for ritual... look out for fairies too under the fairy tree!

Trim Castle lies on the shores of the River Boyne and was once the largest castle in Ireland.
Dating back to 1176, the castle was constructed across a 30,000 m² site over a thirty-year period by a man named Hugh de Lacy and his son Walter.
The film Braveheart was partly filmed here.
