If you are in the mood for Chinese food the China Gourmet has great food. Probably, some of the best Chinese that I've had. It's within walking distance from the house.

This is a fun activity with a few guests or a large group. It's out doors, but is covered. It's all you can eat salad, home made chips (which are to die for), sausages, rolls, drinks. The meat is not all you can eat. However, I filled up on home made chips, salad, and bread and couldn't finish my meat. We had all 3 choices in our group. The most popular was the trout, the chicken came in second. But my daughter loved her steak. It's 30.00 for the meal and 15.00 without the meat. They also had many different sauces, which I think was the fondue. They were delicious on the chips, salads, and baked potato. They ask you one or two on the potato. Get 2 that makes it a whole baked potato. They are wonderful! There are games and it's such a great place on a warm summer night! This is easy for 2 people, or you can bring 20. If you have more than a couple people call and make reservations! This is such a fun activity!

This place has great prime rib on Fridays. The food is very good for being in such a small town. It's a 20 minute drive from the house but is worth the drive. It's at Daniel Junction.

White Pine Ski Resort is a great family ski resort. They also have cross country skiing. Tubing is available for a fun family activity. In the Summer it is a beautiful place to go hiking or mountain biking.

This is a fun destination to visit and learn about history. They have a whole week of the Mountain Man days in July called Rendevous Days. If you aren't able to visit during Rendevous Days then the Mountain Man Museum is a great second.
