Iconic steakhouse and the world's largest private selection of wine. Call ahead for a reservation - even when you think it will be slow. If you can't get a reservation, the bar is amazing and they have a great steak sandwich and most perfect classic cocktails. Take the tour of the wine cellar and the kitchen, then head upstairs to the dessert room for the most decadent sweets you've ever had.

The oldest continuously operated restaurant in Florida, the oldest Spanish restaurant in the United States and one of the largest Spanish restaurants in the world - it takes up a while block in Ybor! Also, the food is delicious and the portions are huge and they have live flamenco shows. The history runs deep at the Columbia and it is definitely worth checking out.

If you are in the mood for some really good pizza and a heavy dose of nostalgia, go to Cappy's. Choose your beer from the self-serve cooler and order a Chicago deep dish. You won't regret it! Bring cash though, because they don't take cards.

This is one of Ybor's oldest businesses! They bake the most amazing cuban bread. Go get loaf for yourself and a cafe con leche. You won't be disappointed. I also have to mention their breakfast sandwiches, wide array of pastries, pies, and cookies, and of course....their Cuban Sandwich!

This is technically a bar but they've got an awesome food menu! We love going here for the relaxing atmosphere, decor, occasional live music and the outdoor seating. Plus they have a really expansive selection of perfectly curated wine (including a lot of natural and organic options) and local craft beer. They also have a late night food menu for anyone looking for a bite to eat after most kitchens are closed :)

This park is really quiet - in fact we rarely see anyone else there! Great for a long walk along the river especially if you want to see a gator or two! There are boardwalks and lots of shaded walking paths. There is a small entry fee but a couple of dollars is worth it here.

Arts & Culture

Go here to experience the rich cultural heritage of Ybor City (which happens to be one of only two National Historic Landmark Districts in Florida). Visit the Museum located in the 1923-era Ferlita Bakery, its lush Mediterranean-style garden and the "casita," representative of a typical cigar-worker's family home.

Beautiful museum located in Downtown St. Pete right on the water showcasing the lifeworks of Salvador Dali. The current temporary exhibit is the work and story of Frida Kahlo and it's AMAZING! Her work will be on display until mid-April so check it out before it's gone. There is also a cafe and a great gift shop. Make sure to walk through the outdoor gardens before you leave!

A tiny, quiet bar perfect for a fan of classic cocktails and a quiet spot off the beaten trail. Chat with your bartender or sit in a quiet corner by the window and people watch. This is a classic Ybor bar great for a nightcap. They do allow smoking inside and it is a very small bar, so don't go if you are super sensitive to cigarette smoke.
