If you're looking for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free food that is healthy and delicious, this is a great restaurant! Non-healthy people like it too ;-) It's Mediterranean food with fresh-made cheesecakes and baklava for dessert. It's my all-time favorite restaurant within a 30 minute drive.

Decent Mexican food nearby. I haven't been personally, but I have friends who recommend it. It's attached to a grocery store, so I wouldn't recommend it for the ambiance, but the food is good if you're looking for Mexican.

This is a local favorite. They offer both vegetarian and meat options, and their barbecue veggie meat is made from scratch and is my personal favorite. I don't normally like sandwiches, but I make an exception for Baguette De France.
There are many who grew up in this town and look forward to eating at here every time they come home to visit. It's been newly renovated. Great food, great location and great ambiance.
They're open 10-10 most days.

They are best known for their pizza, beer, Philly sandwich and cajun chicken. A lot of people come here before wine tasting or to meet up with friends. As a vegetarian, I have been here once and enjoyed my meal, though I don't remember what I ordered.

They offer wood-fired pizza and nitrogen ice cream. If you've never had nitrogen ice cream, it's an experience you should have-it's fun to watch them make it right in front of you. I prefer the taste of it to all other kinds of ice cream, and my kids love this place. Pizza is great too.
They have a game room in the back with ping pong, air hockey, shuffleboard, fooseball, a mini indoor soccer field for kids to get their energy out, a giant playhouse, and quarter machines with candy (your kids will thank you for bringing quarters).
We've been here dozens of times, and 95% of the time, it's been excellent. Great for rainy days.

I prefer the taste of it to all other kinds of ice cream, and my kids love this place. Pizza is great too.

If you want to watch a movie at a theater for cheap, this is the place!!! It costs my family of four $12 to see a matinee. Can't beat that. I believe during peak times it's only $6 a person. Not bad.

Great place for a Saturday afternoon walk. Beautifully kept trails next to the St. Joseph river. Very peaceful and beautiful, especially in the spring and fall.

Great place to go sledding in the winter! They have a 400 foot tubing hill and tons of single and double inflated inter-tubes. All you need to bring is your snow gear, a smile, and some money to get in ;-) They even make their own snow (as long as conditions are right).
They also have cross country skiing, a warm game room and hot chocolate and snacks for purchase.

This is my family's favorite beach because there's so much to do there. You can climb the dunes (and jump off the back side), play in the water, rub clay all over yourself, and there's usually a kiddie wading area if you park in the first parking lot (there are three lots). Go down the beach and walk left until you run into an inlet that is shallow and safe for toddlers. Or if you go to the third parking lot, they have kayak rentals available. They also have concession stands and food trucks during peak summer times.

This is THE most popular beach in summer. I would NOT recommend going on a weekend in June or July, as it will be PACKED (unless you love big crowds). Within walking distance is a water fountain for kids to play in, two kid's discovery museums and great pizza.

The campus is beautifully maintained and it's a pleasant place to take a walk during the weekend or in the evenings. There are also hiking trails behind the pathfinder building (type "pathfinder building Andrews University) into google, and you will find a map. Many people park here to go on hikes.
