Hike down a relatively easy trail to Skinny Dip Falls! This is a beautiful spot with crystal clear (and really cold) water. You can jump in off a tall rock and swim all afternoon. Almost an hour drive down the parkway from our house in Black Mountain, but the trip is beautiful, and it's a great way to get a glimpse of the beautiful overlooks on your route. While you're here, check our Graveyard Fields, as well. Great hiking, swimming, and beautiful waterfalls.

Skinny Dip Falls
Blue Ridge ParkwayHike down a relatively easy trail to Skinny Dip Falls! This is a beautiful spot with crystal clear (and really cold) water. You can jump in off a tall rock and swim all afternoon. Almost an hour drive down the parkway from our house in Black Mountain, but the trip is beautiful, and it's a great way to get a glimpse of the beautiful overlooks on your route. While you're here, check our Graveyard Fields, as well. Great hiking, swimming, and beautiful waterfalls.
The most incredible view possible. I absolutely love this trail! It has views in every direction, private places to sit and hang, and it relatively short (although very steep). Trail is in the Linville Gorge, in Morganton area.
