The Marieta islands are so cool! great snorkeling around a wildlife protected set of very unique islands with a beach you swim under the island to get to. Hard to describe but if you google it, you'll get an idea.

Cruz, the owner is a kind man and sometimes has fresh ranch eggs sold individually, there are always characters standing in line and sometimes locals will cut the line. This is where I get essentials from cold drinks to local coffee and honey, salsa, paper goods etc. Its like a mini market.

Tigre and his family have been in Sayulita for generations, Tigre and his brother have shared the title of National surf Champions and they also run the surf school on the beach, these guys are as local as it gets.

This is a little confusing because the same family owns a little corner store in town and a restaurant on the beach, both are good but I was trying to list the restaurant. If it's still there, the reason I like it is that it's right on the beach and has great shrimp dishes.
