Best breakfast in town. The original is quite small, however they have a second location located off of Ski Run Blvd that suites bigger parties during the busy seasons.

The only German bar in town and man o man is it a good one! Located at the base of the California Lodge of Heavenly Ski Resort, this place must not be overlooked. Read the Yelp reviews to see for yourself. Not only does this place offer amazing craft german beers, 6 being on draft and cycling quite often to over 60 bottles of different german beers, but this place has amazing food. You can't go wrong with any dish but highly recommend that Pork Shank and the Bavarian Pretzel to start.
Best beer in town....hands down. Open Mic on Mondays, Bingo Tuesdays, and Trivia Wednesdays.

Right off 50 in the middle of town. When it comes to sushi in south lake, you have quite a few options, but let me tell you, Samurai is the best one. Aje, the owner and usual sushi chef, is amazing! Order from the menu, or simply tell him what you want and he'll make something up thats both artsy and delicious.
