Littleton Farmer's Market: Visit on Sundays 10am-1pm across the river from Schilling Beer (just across the covered bridge). Get there early before the pastries at Mountain Roots Farm sell out! The local produce is fantastic...you'll likely see me there stocking up for the week :)

Reklis has fantastic beer and the best outdoor seating of any restaurant in the area. It's usually crowded as all good breweries tend to be, so plan accordingly! ***While google may still have it listed on Pinewood Ave, Reklis has relocated to the red building on Main St. in Bethlehem.

Accessed via the Mt. Kinsman trail, Bald Peak is one of our favorite hikes in the area. It's fairly quiet in terms of foot traffic and the views of great! There are some water crossings along the way which are pretty, especially after a lot of rain. Bald is just 4.5 miles round trip. If you're looking for a bit more mileage, you can just keep going up Kinsman rather than turning off to the summit of Bald.

At round 3.5 miles round trip, the sugarloaves are an easy introduction to the White Mountains with a great payoff! We'll often venture up to watch the sunset in the summer (just remember to bring headlamps). Hike north peak, middle, or both depending upon your time and energy.

Gorgeous masses of granite carved out by the river, the basin is not to be missed. Certainly more of a stroll than a hike, it's accessible to all. It can get crowded, especially on weekend.

Hike the Coppermine trail to Bridal Veil Falls, a beautiful waterfall surrounded by granite. It's about 5 miles round trip and elevation gain is minimal, making this hike a great option on a day when you're looking for something less strenuous than many of the other hikes in the White Mountains. We love hiking Coppermine in the rain, as clouds won't obstruct the view of the falls.

At about 3 miles round trip, Lonesome lake is a good option for novice hikers or those looking for good payoff within a limited timeframe. Despite it's name, Lonesome Lake does get a lot off foot traffic, so plan accordingly. The mountain lake is gorgeous and offers great views of surrounding peaks. There's also a hut at the lake, which can be a fun place to have a picnic lunch.
