Oak smoked kippers have been smoked here since 1872. They are absolutely delicious and can be packed to take home. The smoked salmon and smoked kipper pate is so tasty too.

The visitor centre has a lovely cafe and tea room and also lots of outdoor spaces with picnic tables where you can enjoy alfresco dining. There is no admission charges.
