This lovely new museum features lots of fossils found in and around Kimmeridge by a local man, Steve Etches.Hes managed to get lottery and other funding to get a beautiful local museum built to showcase what he has found, how he looks for fossils and has wonderful screens so you feel you are in an aquarium with prehistoric creratures swimming above you. Loads of great interactive screens to find out more and a massive microscope on the ground floor where you can examine fossils and minerals. Great sheets for kids to complete, nice gift shop and just across the road from Clavells, a famous ice cream and afternoon tea place. Ticket is valid for a year!
