It's great for a nice sit down meal whether you are looking for a romantic setting with full white linens, or if you just roll into the bar. Reservations are recomended if you want to sit in the main dining area, but usually the bar area has a spot, and they serve the full menu.

It's a popular spot, expecially in the summers because they run a Mountain Bike tour company out of the barn in back, so you might be competing for food with the bikers who are starting their day.

This is the bigger sports bar in town and it's open 24/7. They have dozen's of TV's broadcasting pretty much any game you need to find. This is also our go-to place for ordering pizza for pick-up. It's not gourmet, but it gets the job done.

Parks & Nature
This is the place to go if you want to get outside. In the summer you can hike on the Tahoe Rim Trail or any of the other trails in the area. In the winter it's the perfect place to strap on the snow shoes or cross country skis. There are also several great sledding hills along this stretch of highway.

Find a place to park along Hwy28 and take the flat path to Hidden Beach. It's about a half of a mile and takes about 10 minutes.
There are two access points along the trail. bypass the first one and keep going down to the far end of the beach, where there is usually more room to stretch out. There is a restroom here.
It's a great place to bring the dog if they like the water.

Find a place to park along Hwy28 and take the flat path to Hidden Beach. It's about a half of a mile and takes about 10 minutes.
There are two access points along the trail. bypass the first one and keep going down to the far end of the beach, where there is usually more room to stretch out. There is a restroom here.
It's a great place to bring the dog if they like the water.

This is pretty much the only pet store in town. Sure you can buy dog food at Raley's, but there is a much better selection here (and it's in the same shopping center). They have all the pet suplies you might need during your stay.

This isn't a grand casino like you would see in Reno or Vegas, but it has everything you need for a fun night out. They have two restaurants on site and the lobby is nice for just lounging around.
