Be sure to take a compass and phone with you. The trails are not marked well. If you walk the right way you can find where the orange farm used to be. Some of the trees still produce good sweet oranges. Pack your lunch and water. There is none in the park.

Go see the Manatee in Crystal River. In the cold months of January and February there are hundreds of manatee that winter in the crystal clear spring waters. Ask for directions to the free viewing areas, or take the tour bus to the springs and get education from the guide.
