In order to preserve its majesty in Bandar Seri Begawan, no building is allowed to be higher than its mast. Muslims are welcome to pray in the mosque but non-Muslim visitors can visit the mosque everyday outside of prayer times and on Friday, mass day.

In order to preserve its majesty in Bandar Seri Begawan, no building is allowed to be higher than its mast. Muslims are welcome to pray in the mosque but non-Muslim visitors can visit the mosque everyday outside of prayer times and on Friday, mass day.

This is where the declaration of independence was announced in 1984 from being a protectorate of British Colonial power. Far from being used as a regular sporting venue that it used to, it still hosts celebrations such as His Majesty's birthday and National Day. Every Sundays, the place is vibrant with people as the capital is transformed into pedestrian only town on the day.

For nature loving visitors, you can have a choice of various degree of trail tracking in this park. You can get a good vista of Bandar Seri Begawan at the watch tower right at the top. There is also a climbing wall provided but you need to bring your own gear. Full of visitors both in the morning and afternoon. Try to catch and join a Taichi session early in the morning.
