Perfect place for swimming, sunbathing, lounging and eating fresh local food is a secluded spot on the south side of Ciovo island, the place called "Laganini Beach Club" at Duboka Inlet (Uvala Duboka). It is really beautiful for all day activities. The best way to reach this place is to drive there or cycling - it is cca. 5km from the apartment. The food and drink prices are really moderate and definitely great value for money.

Kamerlengo Castle is magnificent structure is the work of the master Marin Radoje (14th – 15th century), and it was built as a continuation of the so- called fortress of chains. It got its name from the word ‘kamerlengo’ (camerarius), clerk – cashier, who was responsible for all financial jobs by arrangement with the duke. Today, it is an irreplaceable summer stage. St. Mark’s tower was built during the 15th century to protect the town. It is located on the north-west side of the island as an extent of the Kamerlengo fortress. Between the fortress and tower there is a Marmont's gloriet. The Glorijet was built during the French rule, more precisely in 1809 in honour of the French marshal Marmont. The Glorijet is one of the few monuments from the time of the short-term French government of Dalmatia.
