About 20 minutes drive away. You can get a speed boat ferry across to the Island. There is a ticket cost for this. Once on the island, a guide will talk to you and give you a map. You might see Puffins and other wonderful wildlife.

Parks & Nature
This is a very special and beautiful beach. There is a 4 mile walk to get there, on a very rough path. It will take you at least two hours to get there. You must always stick to the path. If visiting, it's best to choose a sunny day and to set off on the morning, to allow for plenty time getting back again. You can not drive there as it can only be accessed on foot. They say it is haunted by an old fisherman. My grandfather was the first on the scene in World War 2, when a spot fire crashed on the beach whilst on a practise flight. The pilot survived. The propellor of the plane can still be seen on the beach ( if you know where to look). My grandfather would often tell me of that day
