The eastern end of the bike trail starts at Beal’s Point on the west side of the lake and continues west to Old own Sacramento along the American River. A convenient access to the bike trail is in Historic Folsom near Karen’s Bakery. There’s free parking in the three story brick parking structure across from the light rail station which goes to downtown Sacramento. For a fun experience ride try the new Johnny Cash Trail accessible from Historic Folsom (Park at Rodeo Park near the zoo in the center of Folsom). If you want to rent bikes try Mike’s Bikes in Old Folsom or Folsom Bike near the new bridge on Auburn/Fol
