Its walking distance from our house ( only 5 minutes), and has a great walking/jogging track around the lake. Large mature gum trees are nestled in lovely grassed areas. With a large shaded children's play ground. There are resident flocks of white galas, cockatoos and pink and grey galas. You can walk the "staircase" to the top of the hill, to view the stunning vista of Cockburn Coast, and out to Carnac and Rottenest Island.

In the heart of Fremantle, close to the large libary and Tourist info center is FOMO, eateries, games arcade and IGA grocery store. Busy on the weekends and evenings.

Beautiful beaches and rocky islands. Such a great day trip from our flat. Only about a 35 minute drive. Fishing , swimming, canoeing and walking. Penguin Island discovery centre, with small ferry going across to island or if your brave on a low tide you can wade across the sand bar.

If you love cycling, and the beach ....... you will absolutely love Rottnest Island. Take the bikes provided by us over on the Ferry to save some money on your trip. Pack a lunch and the day is yours to decided what to do. Chat to Per for recommendations as to what and where to go! we even have some snorkelling gear you can borrow if your so inclined.

Recently refurbished, this is a must place for museum lovers or just a great day trip on a hot day. Take the Fremantle train line in to the city and the museum is just a few hundred meters when you get off the train. They always have special exhibitions on that are free and kids programmes are excellent.

Recently refurbished, this is a must place for museum lovers or just a great day trip on a hot day. Take the Fremantle train line in to the city and the museum is just a few hundred meters when you get off the train. They always have special exhibitions on that are free and kids programmes are excellent.
