Drinks & Nightlife

Price is slightly expensive, but you can either chill by the bar or loose yourself on the dance floor. They serve ice cold beer with good snack choices. There are also hawker stalls at the sidewalk to satisfy your late night cravings.

The interior is cozy and they provide good service. It's so strategically located, whereby after long walks in the night market at Chinatown, you can just chill over here.

Opens from 11.30am till midnight. Strongly recommend you to explore the night life here. Parking may be difficult, so I recommend you to download and use the GrabCar App instead. Try to avoid using local taxis... Malaysia is famous for taxis with bad service. Many things to explore here e.g. fine dining, clubbing, pubs, jazz clubs etc. Please note that alcohol and wines are expensive in Malaysia.

Food Scene

Not used to spicy delicacy in Malaysia? It's okay! Just head to this restaurant. It serves good Western food, vegetarian friendly, has vegan and gluten free options. A great place for breakfast and brunch. I strongly recommend the French toast!

This is a good start to have a taste on our local cuisine, though for locals, it's not spicy enough for us haha. They basically serve good Nyonya dishes (typical Malay food) and provides vegetarian options as well. Try the spring rolls, eggplants and rendang (slow cooked curry using coconut milk)

You may try Indian food here. Try to order Mee Goreng (fried noodles), Murtabak with lamb and cheese (bread with curry sauce), Roti Telur (Egg Bread, not spicy), Roti Tissue (sweet bread), Garlic Naan (Garlic Bread), Tandoori Chicken etc. It's quite packed during peak times, so expect some waiting... it's super cheap but don't expect much on hospitality. If there is a communication breakdown, try talking to the cashier.

Though they do not serve typical local Chinese cuisine, but it is a good entry level to try it out. Have a try on their braised pork.

Try out our local fruits here. Though it's not the cheapest place to buy fruits, but it's clean and you can get gluten free options as well. And there's a nice cafe too.

Parks & Nature

A park full of nature. The elevated canopy walk is free and leads you to see some nice view. It's like walking in the middle of jungle and at then you get to see the KL Tower. It's basically a small jungle with treetop walks located in the middle of the city. Inside this park includes museum as well. The place is steep, so expect a bit of climb.

Shopping

If you plan to drive, it's easier to find parking here, and then go for KL shopping tour. It's basically walking distance to Pavillion Mall. If you would like to explore further, you can walk the connected canopy walk from Pavillion Mall to Suria KLCC Mall, but that will be a long tiring walk so be prepared! Otherwise, you can hop on the purple "Go KL" bus - IT IS FREE and passes by Suria KLCC Mall. Check it out here https://www.gokl.com.my

Sightseeing

I'm not telling you to visit this Barber Salon, but what I mean is that the Arab Street is also known as the Street Music Site. It's like a mini art street whereby you can see artists working on their artwork, street performances etc. Great night life with lots of Arab food around here. But beware of snatch thief! It's still a common thing in Malaysia. And do not answer or talk to strangers! Always keep your personal belongings and kids close to you.

Arts & Culture

This is a great place to take nice photos to impress your friends and family back at your place. It's full of illusionary artworks. I strongly recommend you to visit the "Infinity Room" - kids will love this. There are friendly staffs here. So feel free to ask them to give you a tour over here.
