Arts & Culture

This is the oldest open-air museum in the world. Visitors meet a miniature historical Sweden reflected both in the buildings and their surroundings. Swedish traditions such as Midsummer, Walpurgis Night and Lucia are celebrated at Skansen. Taking Djurgården ferry from Slussen (all year) is recommended. You can also take the 7 tram from Hamngatan in the very center of Stockholm or bus 44 from Karlaplan.
