My new favorite coffee shop. The space is beautiful, the lighting is just right, and they play vinyl records. And it's very close to my home. If you stay in my home and you like coffee (or cool spaces), Pinewood is a must.

Hipster ambience. Good coffee, though a little pricey at $3.25/cup. But great deals on beer and spirits at happy hour. And they make excellent cocktails

One of Waco's two best pubs (the other is the Dancing Bear). Good selection of beer, and the food is excellent. Elizabeth is one of Waco's up-and-coming chefs. I recommend the Italian flatbread and the artichoke dip.

One of Waco's two best pubs. Typically a younger crowd than Barnett's. Great beer selection and the food is good (though perhaps not quite as excellent as Barnett's).
