We're very fortunate to have some of the mount Ucka trails starting right from our doorstep. From Villa Oscar, hiking trails go through the forest to Icici, Opatija or even to the top of Ucka at 1400m (about 3.5 hours one way). Equally beautiful in springtime when it comes to life with soft greens and the air is filled with bird song, in summer when it provides much necessary cool shade, in fall when colours change and even winter when it's covered with snow but sheltered from the harsh northern winds.
