This place is our neighborhood joint! Just a couple of blocks from our place, it's an easy spot for some casual dining (burgers, wings, gyros, salads, etc.) or a late night hangout. It's an old car garage renovated into a restaurant, and it has a large patio which is super fun on a pretty day!

We LOVE this place! Their chicken+beef fried rice is a family fave in our house, and is a HUGE portion, so we usually all can split one order. I also love their lettuce wraps and Mu Shu Wraps, but really everything I've had there is pretty tasty. Great for take-out if you just need something quick.

By far one of our FAVE barbecue spots in Atlanta. Don't let the sketchiness of the building deter you... it's totally worth it! We love their pulled pork and brisket, and usually round it out with their mac+cheese and fries. If you're a bbq lover, you've gotta stop in here before you leave!

Their Blue Corn Chicken Enchiladas + Cayenne Fried Chicken are two of our favorite plates, but we've had so many other good ones as well! It gets pretty busy on the weekends though, so call in a reservation if you're planning ahead!

They've created a space that's easy on the eyes and so welcoming, we've enjoyed many hangouts over here! They have both an indoor and outdoor area that's open during their tasting+tour hours, which are Tuesday-Thursday from 4:00-8:00, and Saturday from 1:00-6:00. Kids are welcomed (as long as they're not out of control, of course) - we usually let ours run around outside on a pretty day. They also rent out their space for events and parties, so check them out if you're in the market for one!

If you're looking for a Crossfit gym to drop in while you're in town, this is your spot! The coaches are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the space is huge so lots of room to get buff. ;)

Parks & Nature
Me and my littles love this area in all seasons - it is SO beautiful! There are a lot of different trails, so make sure you do a little research and check the map out before you start blazing one. There's a really extensive paved bike path as well which he haven't gotten to ride yet but can vouch that it's definitely nice and well cared for! We love the Forest Trail/Mile Rock Trail, which leads you across the large open granite face that used to be a rock quarry. Definitely bring water with you in the summer, since it gets pretty steamy out there during the day! Parking is free at the Nature Center, and there's a large map at the entrance as well.

Such a beautiful place to just relax and unwind, definitely one of our favorites.

It's a pretty easy hike in itself, but we loved all of the little quirky sculptures and sayings placed throughout the trails. Definitely a unique experience!

Citizen Supply is a local artist's market on the upper floor of Ponce City Market featuring a wide variety of vendors from candlemakers to jewelry to leather goods to clothing - you name it! There are some really great finds in here, and they're always changing things up. Plus, we love to support local artisans and vendors whenever we can!
