The Zoo is in the top 20 zoos in the country. I like Avalon beaches for family excursions. The zoo is a good stop before hitting the beach. My sister loves this place.

The Delaware Bay is so close to the house and a nice walk. I go to the south end of the Villas (Arbor, Spruce, Birch, Oak--all the "tree" streets) and catch a sunset whenever I can.

If I don't add this to the Food Scene my husband, Roy, will divorce me. He loves Mack's. My Aunt Sharon is always trying to figure out ways to ship it to Roy. Mack's is my favorite pizza, too.

The food is delicious and very reasonable. No need to fight the crowds after a long fun day at the beach. Order it to-go and take it to the bay beach and have a picnic. Or, bring it home to the cottage and enjoy it on the covered patio or backyard patio.

Sightseeing
I am not a fan of the food. It makes me sad because I used to love the lobster salad. I still love walking around the docks hoping I'll get lucky and be there when a boat is unloading. The best place to get a picture with the boats and Lobster House in the background is at the marina right (going out of town) before you turn into the Lobster House compound. This is where my daughter took my profile pic.

Great deli meat to take home. You can also get pre-made hoagies. My parents think the cheesesteaks here beat the competition. It is close to the cottage if you just want to grab something quick and easy.
