It's stunning and inspirational. Hike down into the valley if you're up for it or simply sit and stare at the awesome view. Quieter early morning and late afternoon. Often busy and hot mid day. Not safe to swim, so don't.

My favorite local place to watch the ocean come to shore. Winter waves are awesome. It's a great perspective to see the ocean and the North Kohala cliffs. No swimming due to rough water and dangerous currents.

It's our local swimming hole. The parking area is ugly, but the water is pristine. Tropical fish abound in the crystal clear water. Do not go in if it's murky or rough.
