On the highway from Cha-Am to Hua Hin in Thailand you will find after a short distance the Cha-Am Forest Park. This natural Forest Park has been left in its natural state and many birds and mammals, like wild living monkeys, have now settled there again.
This small but very beautiful Forest Park on established on the 4th March 1992. It offers long walks protected by shady trees and an unique flora and fauna.
Especially in the morning you will see many rare birds, big lizards and other exotic animals. An asphalted path invites you to an early morning jog in the nature.

Getting to the forest park is an adventure in itself as the road is rough and relatively unpaved. From Phetkasem Road, at the 197km post, take a small local road that leads to Wat Pa Sutthikun and continue for 1km. On the way, you will see a series of limestone quarries leading up to the mountains.

The market starts from about 5:30 pm and runs until 10 pm. The market is massive and is spread out over a large area near the municipal offices and the railway station. For foodies there is a lot to taste and consume and so make sure you come hungry. However, there are many other stalls selling things like jewelry, clothing, electronics, DVDs and all kinds of gifts and souvenirs. There is surely something for everyone.
