Looking out the front window of the house, it's the green place on the hill. From their parking lot, it has a very nice view of Port Aux Basques Harbour. Good dining with traditional Newfoundland food. Elegant and quiet. A small bar there also.

Sitting right on the edge of Port Aux Basques harbour. This building has a unique history. At one time in the '60s, it was a bootlegger's watering hole for the local party goers. Pretty sure some of the locals could tell a few more about this place. Enjoy a perfect view of the boats coming and going while having a cup of tea or a restaurant meal. Greco Pizza. Chester Chicken. Downstairs is the One Ton Bar and Eatery. I hear the wings are great.

Started in the late '60s, Bob's is an icon of Port Aux Basques. So good, it's the home remedy for a hangover. When locals who live away return home for a visit, first place they will head, sometimes right off the boat, is Bob's Chicken Coop.

Just five or six miles down the shore towards Rose Blanche. Locally known as Margaree - Foxroost. At one time this was a bustling fishing community where every high schooler was guaranteed a summer job at the fish processing plant. Still now a picturesque place to visit with it's fishing stages and local friendliness. The big draw in this area is the Seashore Restaurant and Lounge. The favorite for seafood dining.
