Jumping off point for hikes up the nearby mountains facing Mt. Monadnock. The center has trail maps and hosts other activities. These trails are generally easier for families with young children. Mt. Skakutakee has blueberries at the top in July.

A fifteen minute drive brings you to the amazing Harris Center which offers educational programs and a array of great hikes year round. The Harriskat Trail runs by several interesting animals a local artist has carved out of logs.
