It is a crossing path, and sometimes it is occupied by some structure for activities, such as ice skating, popular party, music events, etc... Besides of that, it has some benches in, with quite calm.

Famous roundabout in Porto known for it´s monument in the middle. Has also got a few green spots around the monument and it is set of some seasonal entertainment.

Boavista Roundabout or square has in the center a beautiful and large romantic garden. With countless old trees, oaks, linden, tulip trees, palm trees. Wooden benches are scattered around where you can read , look at the ever-intense traffic. Meditate, think life.

The garden of the Rotunda da Boavista, Mouzinho de Albuquerque Square, dates from the beginning of the 19th century and has a formal layout around the Monument to the Heroes of the Peninsular War. It's an emblematic place of the city where you can walk in the shade of the trees, or even rest. There is a lot of commerce around and in St. John and Christmas time the space gets more colour, with fun and popular parties.
