Ogunquit has an amazing beach. My advice is to watch the tides. At high tide there is very little room along main beach and the river side. Go early to get a spot if the tide will be high.

The town`s motto says it all: "Beautiful Place by the Sea." Large, white sand beach popular in the summer for swimming, sunbathing, picnicking & sunset views.

Beach Street Oqunquit, ME 03907 15.7 mi (24 mins) Soft sand beach, over three miles long. A short walk to the shopsand restaurant of Ogunquit Center. For kayak, stand up paddleboard, surfboard rentals: liquiddreamssurf.com.

Rated one of the top beaches in the US. Includes the "river side" beach with less surf and warmer waters and the ability to kayak/paddleboard/tube (make sure you check the tides)
