The Salt Marsh Trail is part of an old train railroad that has been transformed into a great part of the "Trans Canada Trail". The trail provides a straight easygoing adventure for hikers and bikers alike. This trail is also a good option for cross-country skiing in the wintertime.

“5 minutes west down the 207. Is a historical house which sits, atop the hill overlooking, Lawrencetown Beach and Stoney Beach. A popular spot for wind and kite surfing. There is a bench on top of the hill so you can enjoy the views. Home to Heron's Nest Tea Room, Kannon Beach Surf shop, and Fancy Lucky Seaside shop. Enjoy lunch at The Heron's Nest Tea Room with a beautiful view, this is local favorite, which has amazing daily specials. It is very popular location for those going to or leaving the beach.
