Conseils des habitants
Beautiful views of Penobscot Bay. 6 miles from cottage. Free parking and entrance into this state park where there are short trails to lighthouse and a rocky beach with picnic tables.
Roughly half mile walk to the lighthouse required, with a nice even/broad path - there is a long flight of stairs to actually get up to the light house. There are picnic tables and outdoor grills at this park, as well as a small beach to enjoy.
More breathtaking views abd photo ops. Wear sturdy shoes for the unpaved paths.
