One of Salisbury's oldest pubs. Winston Churchill used to drink here. There is a ghostly hand set in the wall and a tiny room at the front, and a roaring fire. What more does a pub need?

Possibly the oldest pub in Salisbury and apparently haunted. A friendly quirky historic local which has been serving locals and visitors alike for centuries, worth a visit if in Salisbury.

Hailed as probably the oldest hostelry in Salisbury, dating back 700 years and certainly the most haunted! The huge oak beams pre-date the building by several hundred years and are thought to come from early sailing vessels. This is a must see and recommended by the Good Pub Guide for 28 years. Listed as one of the 25 Pubs in the UK you must drink in before you die! Go in - if you dare!
