Great local pub and eatery. They have local craft beer on tap and he food is amazing. Hipsterish crowd. Lots of Flannel and Blundstones.
Amazing local brew-pub with great food. All local beers. Regular tap-takeovers. Order a flight to sample the amazing beers created by Nova Scotian brewers.
10-min walk; cool bar; serves good food; nice little patio; North Brewery is downstairs. [Note: stairs!]
Solidly within my Top 3 places to eat and drink in the Halifax area. Can be a bit tough to get a table during peak hours so have a plan B.
Great food and craft beer selection, but get there early, this place WILL be packed every night starting at around 5 o'clock!

“Farmers market on Saturday morning 8-12 - there are many craft vendors, sweet treats & everything you need to cook your own farm to table feast. Visit Chirro for amazing hand made cheese - a master Italian cheese maker. Bakery stall has fantastic hand pies, brioche & baguette. The german bakery stall has amazing plum filled doughnuts & out of this world gluten free bread. Vessel Meats is own by a lady butcher - all local meat, amazing sausages. The Mennonites bring their 'no spray' produce every week, it's better then anything you find at the store. Their eggs are fantastic. We have the best apples in Nova Scotia, be sure to buy a bag & pick up a jug of fresh pressed cider from the Noggans store. Berries are especially good in the summer, many farmers bring them to the market, don't miss out. ”
