A gorgeous art gallery just behind Marylebone High Street. Nice for afternoon tea too.
A bite sized FREE museum just behind Selfridges department store and Marylebone high street. Wonderful High tea and lunch in their beautiful covered courtyard restaurant. Built as a private house so get 3 in one, house, museum and food. What’s not to like. London’s best kept secret.
Founded by the illegitimate son of the 4th Marquess of Hertford, who, on his death, left his mansion and collection to the nation, on the proviso that nothing was ever sold or lent out for an exhibition, so you can always bank on turning up and finding the Titian, Rembrandt and Velazquez paintings …
A hidden gem which is not as popular as the other Art galleries, but worth a visit if have extra time.
