Maki originated in the kitchen of Mohamad Zeitoun, who would prepare Japanese fusion meals which were met with great acclaim. Collaborating with his brother Amer, the first Maki restaurant in the Middle East was born in Kuwait and Bahrain soon followed. Combining Japanese tradition with global flavors and textures, Maki offers cuisine that transcends the boundaries of cultures and countries.
