Jewel of Atlanta! There are walking/jogging/biking trails, a dog park, beer garden and much more! The Park links up with the Beltline EastSide Trail on it's SE corner, next to Park Tavern. The Tavern often has live music in the evenings.
Piedmont Park is an urban park in Atlanta, Georgia, located about 1 mile northeast of Downtown.
Largest park in the Atl metro area. Home to several concerts, festivals, art and beautiful scenery. Check to see if something is happening during your stay.
There are more than several places to park around the park-try a parking app- and/or google maps-HOWEVER, I recommend parking in the Atlanta Botanical Gardens parking deck, it costs about the same or less than all the others, just ask the parking attendant who directs traffic as you enter- what…
There’s never a shortage of things to do at Piedmont Park. From splashing in the pool to running sprints around the track to taking in the sights of nature, there’s something for everyone.
Closest major park. Great for cycling, sight seeing, and close by to bars and restaurants to your liking
There is always something interesting go on in or around the park. Live Music, Art festivals. people watching, a great dog park. You can always ask one of the many people enjoying the park on a daily where a good place is to catch dinner, live music or art. I think it is a great place to get a feel…
Bike, run, just play! Huge park with public swimming pool, tennis courts, huge open areas for playing with your pets. Picnic areas with grills
Good for walking and people-watching. Drink a beer at Park Tavern, have a burrito at Willy's. It is a bit far to walk to the park (half mile?), so we sometimes drive to the other side of Ansley Park, leave the car, and walk in the park.
Beautiful park with skyline views, lakes, & a farmer's market (seasonal). Festivals are often going on in the spring, summer, and fall months. Head to Park Tavern for brews overlooking the park and even ice skating sometimes in the winter.
Sightseeing and history tours; nature walks, running and biking trails; swimming.
Atlanta's oldest park in the city, designed by the Olmstead Brothers, the same firm to design NYC's historic Central Park. Great place for a walk, date, or to take your pooch.
The perfect park in the middle of a city. It’s a good size and is also connected to the belt line for a more lengthy adventure!
The Central Park of Atlanta! Lots of great restaurants located on the perimeter of the park for dinner and brunch. I recommend the nook and 10th nd piedmont
