Italian Bar, you can eat the typical sweets of Rome, croissants, donuts and fried bombs. With a very good strong coffee.

This bar has been run for 50 years by the Linari family, who also own the Lì ar Monte restaurant (to try for Pinsa Romana, similar to traditional pizza but with oval shape, crunchy outside and soft inside, very fragrant and digestible thanks to the original blend of flours). The heart of their laboratory are pastries and breakfast desserts (you have to try the famous Roman "Maritozzo", a sweet bun filled with fresh whipped cream), but they also produce savory delicacies for a quick lunch or an aperitif. I love the super thin red "pizzette", in tomato-only version or with mozzarella too.

In the morning the line can be a littlebit long, but the time is well spent after you bit their sweet having a sip of a hot cappucino. If you prefer the salty tast, ask for a little pizza !
