travel back to the 1700's! . Great food with a lot of history, I highly recommend it.
Great food with tons of history Don't forget to look for Abraham Lincolns fave on top left balcony any evening!
Open to the public as a colonial restaurant, the Dobbin House is Gettysburg's oldest, most historic home. If you're a tourist, this is a must eat!
Parking can sometimes be difficult and wait times can be 45 minutes. You will want to eat in the downstairs (basement). The decor is great, it looks like you are eating in a civil war era tavern. As long as you don't come here hungry it's worth the wait. Dobbin House has the best French onion soup. I usually get that and a roast beef sandwich.
