Where Piedmont Streams Tumble Down Gentle Slopes This 933-acre park is divided by grey stone walls built of local stone in the late 1800's. At that time the property was a dairy farm owned by the du Pont family. This unique area became a state park in 1965.

Large beautiful park with trails for walking and running. Also gives you access to Brandywine River. They host Cross Country meets for local high schools in the fall. Hilly and wooded areas. Beauiful views and a great place to see fall foiliage. There is an entrance fee spring through fall.
Brandywine Creek State Park is a state park, located 3 miles north of Wilmington, Delaware along the Brandywine Creek. Open year-round, it is 933 acres in area and much of the park was part of a Du Pont family estate and dairy farm before becoming a state park in 1965.
This state park is located 3 miles north of Wilmington along the Brandywine Creek. There are 14 miles of trails for fitness, wildlife observation and photography in this 930 acres of rolling hills, lush forests and meadows. Open year round.
