Take a picnic in the park, alongside the Rideau River, with one-ever-kind views of the Parliament Hill and Union St Bridge. My 2 cents: If it just stopped raining, go for a walk on the bridge, you’ll catch romantic whimsical sceneries I’ve only ever seen before in Kyoto, Japan.

This is where a lot of the community comes together. There are two free outdoor skating rinks in the winter, a splash pad in the summer, and a dog park. Plus, this is where you can catch the Rideau River Pathway for walking or biking.

Peaceful getaway in the middle of the city. Walk to/from GAC along the river. Great dog park. Lovely view of the Parliament building. Perfect for strolling, jogging, biking.
