This Center focuses on the Civil War and the Battle of Atlanta. This museum provides artifacts and history that is little known about Atlanta and its role.
The Atlanta History Center got a major face-lift in 2014. Close to buckhead and not far from the new home of the Atlanta Braves, it's definitely worth a visit!
Atlanta's Civil War Museum many guests have stopped here on the way up to Blue Ridge.
A little tired and needs updating, but for anyone wanting to know more about the civil war, this is a good place to go. 1/2 day is enough time.

“Great breakfast, early or late. Organic, lots of gluten free options, like even pancakes. Good fresh food, good coffee, local Grant Park/Cabbagetown scene.”

“Serving the Sweet Auburn Historical District, this station, two stops east of Five Points, is named for Martin Luther King Jr. who was born in the neighborhood. A few blocks from the station you can visit the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site, which includes the home where Dr. King was born, Ebenezer Baptist Church, where King preached, and his grave site and memorial.”
