Fantastic 1920's open air swimming pool. A little distance along the coast. You could use a car or take the bus. For the fit, you could even cycle. Ask me if you need transport tips.

Beach with lovely cliffs 15 mins drive or a bus ride away. There is a small cafe there and toilets.

You can generally park for free by the lido in the council car park. Nice place to swim in the sea and there’s a cafe on the beach.

This beach, a beautiful 2 mile walk under the dramatic chalk cliffs, has a higher tide than Ovingdean so if you're a sea swimmer you might be able to jump in there if the tide is low in Ovingean. There's also a cafe high on the chalk wall overlooking the sea, a lido, and a stunning tunnel mural down by local artists.

Nice pool for kids & adults. Changing rooms, cafe. located in Saltdean 10mins by car.
