“Thanks to its geographical position, Ston is rich natural sources, most important being salt. The Ston salt works date back to the Roman Empire and they are the oldest salt works in Europe, as well as the largest preserved slat works in the history of the Mediterranean.”

“Stagnum is a great choice for all the family, with a wide range of fish and seafood dishes (you can’t go wrong with the fish plate, or the mussels or squid ink risotto), plus pizza and steak options if that’s the kind of thing you prefer.”

“If you like sea food, don't waste your time and money on fancy but not so fresh and very expensive dishes in the touristic centres. Go to Ston, this place is amazing, and is a great value for money. Their food is so delicious, you will definitely come back. This is where we go for a treat when we have a special occasion. ;)”
