After you park the car, there is a short walk to the castle. It's an old Venetian fortress on top of a hill, founded by Byzantines. Lovely view from the top. During the summer season, it opens till 3.45 p.m.

The castle of Saint George is bulit on a hilltop in Peratata. Entrance is free, opening hours only Tuesday-Sunday 10:30-15:30
