The Summit House on Skinner Mountain is a great family friendly hike with wonderful views of the valley.

Skinner Park offers great views of the valley and Connecticut River. On your way to South Hadley and Mount Holyoke College. Lovely Conservatory and campus.

Terrific 300 degree view of the Pioneer Valley from a wrap around balcony attached to the former (1900's) Summit House hotel. Can hike up to the summit, or drive and park. Sometimes you can spot an eagle. Summit House also offers a summertime music series.
