Locally owned since 1974. Underground bar and the greatest live/local music scene in town. Grab a booth or seat at the bar and enjoy conversations with friends or staff. Hungry? Go grab a bite from one of the many surrounding restaurants and bring it back to the bar, no problem! Jeff Denney is the owner, always has a friendly smile on his face, and is quite the story teller. Jake, J-Rob, and Whisper are some of the coolest bartenders and if you’re lucky they’ll bring out the Nintendo for a fun game of Mario Kart. EVERYONE is welcome at Mae’s and the atmosphere makes you feel at home.

Auntie Mae's, located in Aggieville (a short, 15-20 min drive to Manhattan, KS) has the most laid back atmosphere out of all the bars in Aggieville. Highly recommended for individuals who enjoy a more calming atmosphere to have drinks and good conversation.

A fun experience underneath Aggieville. Auntie Mae's has been a staple of Aggieville for many years, they have weekly trivia nights and the most seating of any bar in Aggieville so it's a great place to escape the rain. While there, be sure to check out their photo booth and you might be immortalized on their walls forever!
